Globi

Globi Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 4, 2026

Globi (“the app”) is a geography learning game. This policy explains what information the app handles and the choices you have. The short version: you can play the entire game without an account and without sending us anything. If you choose to create an account, we store the minimum needed to sync your progress and run the leaderboard — nothing else.

Playing without an account

All game content works offline and without signing in. Your progress (XP, level, streaks, badges, quiz history, settings) is stored only on your device. It never leaves your device unless you create an account, and it is removed when you delete the app or use Settings → Reset Progress.

If you create an account

Creating an account is optional. It exists to back up your progress, sync between devices, and place you on the global leaderboard. When you sign up we collect and store:

If you use Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google, we receive your email address (Apple lets you hide it behind a private relay address) and a sign-in token. We receive no other information from Apple or Google.

Account data is stored with our hosting provider, Supabase (Postgres database hosted in the United States), which processes it on our behalf and per our instructions.

What we do NOT do

Deleting your data

Children

Globi is suitable for all ages. Accounts are intended for users 13 and older (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country). Younger players can use the full game without an account, in which case no information is collected. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above. Material changes will be noted in the app’s release notes.
